Nepal Storm Into ACC Men’s Premier Cup Final With Crushing 87-Run Win Over Oman


Kuala Lumpur, September 10, 2026: Nepal have marched into the final of the ACC Men’s Premier Cup 2026 in emphatic fashion, defeating Oman by 87 runs in the first semi-final.

Batting first, Nepal posted 147 all out in 45.4 overs, with Dipendra Singh Airee leading the scoring with a composed 51 off 76 balls. Basir Ahamad also made a valuable contribution, scoring 47 off 88 deliveries, as Nepal battled their way to a competitive total.

Oman’s chase never got going. Nepal’s bowlers produced a dominant display to dismiss Oman for just 60 runs in 28.1 overs, securing a convincing 87-run victory.

Sandeep Lamichhane was the pick of the bowling attack, claiming 3 wickets for 9 runs in 6 overs, while Dipendra Singh Airee added 3/11. Rohit Kumar Paudel and Lalit Narayan Rajbanshi also chipped in with two wickets each.
