Resilience Capacity Building Workshop Successfully Completed in Saptari

Sohan Yadav, Saptari, Nepal – The “Resilience Capacity Building: AgroChemical , Dung Cakes and Protection Practices, Climate Action, and Sustainable Development Goals” workshop was successfully conducted in two locations within Saptari district. The workshops were held on January 17, 2025, at Agnisayer Krishnasawaran Rural Municipality, and January 18, 2025, at Rupani Rural Municipality.

The event was supported by CARE Nepal and the NFGF, with technical assistance provided by Green Rangers Earth and Madhesh Pradesh Youth Conference on Climate Change. The program was organized by We For Nature, a community-based organization focused on environmental awareness and child protection.

The workshops aimed to raise awareness and enhance the capacity of local youth and community members in child protection, climate resilience, and sustainable development. Participants actively engaged in discussions, group activities, and presentations on climate-smart agriculture, disaster preparedness, and sustainable development goals.

Participants expressed their enthusiasm and commitment to applying the knowledge gained during the workshop to their respective communities. The successful completion of these sessions marks a significant step toward fostering resilient communities in the face of climate challenges.
