Dhagadamai, Nepal – A transformative workshop on climate-resilient agriculture and sustainable farming practices is set to take place from February 19 to 22, 2025, in Dhagadamai Laxmipur Patarai Bhagwanpur, Sakhuwā. The event, organized under the Smart Krishi Yojana, aims to empower farmers with innovative techniques such as cow dung fuel processing, sustainable agricultural chemicals, and climate-adaptive farming strategies.

This workshop will be conducted by Ashish Lamichhane, an Environment Expert, and Asmita Kumari Sah, an Agriculture Expert, who will provide hands-on training and insights into improving farm resilience against climate change. The sessions will focus on intelligent decision-making, climate-friendly farming practices, and sustainable income generation for farmers.

With the slogan:
“Grow wisely, work climate-friendly, achieve sustainability!”
and
“Let’s empower farmers for a resilient and sustainable future!”,
the event is expected to attract a large number of local farmers, agricultural professionals, and climate activists.

The event is supported by CARE Nepal and NFGF, Green Rangers Earth, and the CCPM, along with the active participation of We For Nature as the lead organizer.
