Miniland won everyone’s heart in Delhi with excellent presentation


July 15, New Delhi, India: Miniland Secondary School located in Kageshwari Manohara Municipality Ward No. 5, Kathmandu, represented Nepal in the International Folk Dance Conference organized by Srishti Performing Arts in New Delhi, the capital of India, to introduce Nepali culture, costumes and traditions to the world.

Students of classes 8, 9, and 10 presented folk dances. Apart from the participation of Nepal, Belgium, Sri Lanka, India, Ghana, etc., schools and dance academies from different states of India, including Delhi, also presented excellent cultural performances at the conference. During the four-day conference, the students of Miniland on behalf of Nepal performed three cultural performances in Gurung, Sunar, and Nepali costumes.

The event was attended by eminent personalities from different parts of India. The show judge, Jaga Master, also taught Indian dance to foreign students through workshops. In addition to receiving the Nepal Trophy at the international conference, the students also exchanged Maya’s mark with groups from other countries.
