Rautahat, Ashish Lamichhane: Mamata Adhikari from Kalikot has announced her candidacy for the position of Central Vice-President (female) of Akhil (Revolutionary).
Adhikari, a resident of Sanni Triveni Rural Municipality Ward No. 1 in the district, has been involved in student politics since an early age. Previously serving as a central committee member of the organization, she has now decided to run for the vice-presidential position after reaching the age limit of 32 years.

Currently pursuing her postgraduate studies at Tribhuvan University, Adhikari completed her 12th grade in Kalikot before moving to Surkhet for her undergraduate studies at Mid-Western University. Despite having an early interest in politics, she mentioned facing confusion due to the lack of political background in her family. She revealed in a brief conversation with Karnali Sandesh, “I was unsure about which ideology to follow, what to do, and where to get involved since I had no political guidance.”
Her political journey began when the Akhil Revolutionary Class Unit Committee was formed at her educational institution. She recalled, “I served as the Class Committee President, then as the Vice-President of the Management Faculty, followed by my role as a member and co-coordinator of the Mid-Western University Committee, and eventually as a central committee member and the in-charge of Mid-Western University within the organization.”

Akhil leader Adhikari has also presented her views through an article regarding the issues that the organization should raise in the upcoming 23rd conference, focusing on educational perspectives and related concerns.
