With the aim of promoting Nepali culture, NRN Jewan Tiwari successfully organized the first-ever Kukur Tihar celebration in the USA. The event featured many participants showcasing traditional music, dance, and Nepali cuisine.
Jewan Tiwari expressed his commitment to hosting this festival annually and expanding its reach to a global audience. Emphasizing the importance of cultural exchange, he stated, “Our goal is to share the beauty of Nepal and its traditions with the world.”
Meanwhile, Kathmandu’s Mayor Balen Shah also discussed plans and the significance of celebrating Kukur Tihar globally in a recent podcast, raising hopes for making the festival even more grand.
